The authors synthesize the results of interviews with 50 expert clinicians identified by their peers as “healers,” examining in depth what the best clinicians actually do. Although not focused on Christian healing per se, their conclusions about how healing occurs (i.e., through caring practices that sustain virtues) is deeply congruent with a biblical understanding of healing.
